Good to know before you move
Do you need a council permit to park the truck near the beach?
No, and the City of Newcastle does not offer a one-day removal permit anyway. The realistic approach on a beachside street is a legal, scouted loading spot timed around the beach-day crowd. We sort that with you before the move.
Can you handle steep streets and steep driveways?
Yes, the slope is our normal day in this pocket. From the ocean-side hill in Merewether to the steep driveways on the Heights, we plan the carry up or down the gradient and, where it helps, bring a smaller shuttle vehicle to get closer to the door.
How far ahead should I book?
The earlier the better, especially around month-end, weekends and through summer when both removalists and beach parking are in demand. A week or two usually secures your date, but get in touch even at short notice.
